My dear friends Leslie and Conor found out that they were having twins, a boy and a girl.
I fell in love with the Two Peas in a Pod theme and had so much fun making this cake. The joy in my heart for their blessing, had me nearly in tears and smiling the entire time while designing this eclectic custom cake.
There were many design hours, and so much detail that went into creating the faces of the twins. I used a flesh colored shine to give the babies their human like qualities.
This three tiered, six layer cake was two flavors- Vanilla with a hint of lemon and chocolate; With a chocolate and strawberry cream filling.
